Vinyl Jam keeps a low profile this year and concentrates on writing songs for the upcoming record. However, there are two possibilities to catch Vinyl Jam live this summer:
31 July 2010: Kaskinen Unplugged, Kaskinen
11 September 2010: Föreningsfestival, Scandic Continental, Helsinki
The gig at Kaskinen Unplugged is coming up in two weeks. The gig will take place at the market square and is for free! Guest vocalist for this gig will be Susanne Jonsson (SWE). Another special guest is Evgen Malinovskiy (POL), who played with Andre 20 years ago in the band Equinox. The rest of the line up is:

Valeri Nikitin (RUS) - Rhodes
Tonmi Lillman (FIN) - drums
Johannes Östergård and Kaspar Kaven filmed Vinyl Jam one year ago when we recorded the "Test of wind" maxisingle. The film, called "Like in Old Glorious Times", has been shown on several film festival and on Finnish television last Autumn. The movie is now out as a limited edition on DVD. It can be bought for instance from Levykauppax.
